Day 1 : West Coast
  • Depart for the West Coast
  • Via Ysterfontein, a quint little West Coast Village

  • Explore Langebaan and the Lagoon

Day 2: CEDERBERG WILDERNESS : BUSHMANS KLOOF
  • Through the rugged Piekenierskloof Pass with its stunning scenery and a phenomenal succession of one sweeping curve after the next, to arrive in the Olifantsriver Valley (translated meaning Elephants River Valley)
  • Via Citrusdal, well-known for its export-quality oranges
  • Over the Pakhuis Pass to enjoy the rugged scenic beauty of the Cederberg Wilderness area. The endangered Clanwilliam Cedar (Widdxringtonia cederbergensis) and the Snow Protea (Protea cryophila) grows exclusively in isolated sites in the Cederberg Wilderness Area.
  • Arrive at Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Wellness Retreat in the Cederberg Wilderness, surrounded by the Mountains. The majestic Cederberg is a 100km long mountain range known for its characteristic jagged sandstone, richly coloured by iron oxides to a deep orange, as well as its curious rock formations and ancient Bushmen (san) rock art. Most of the Cederberg is a designated Wilderness Area (83,000ha) and is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom which is a World Heritage Site.

Day 4 : TULBACH
  • Tulbach, a charming historic town with a wealth of Cape Dutch Architecture. Located among a sea of canola and lush green fields, the town overflows with 1800's history, peacocks and even a chocalatier. Tulbach is situated on the northern end of the beautiful and fertile Tulbagh valley. The valley is almost completely surrounded by majestic mountain ranges - the Obiqua mountains to the west, the towering Winterhoek on the northern end and the Witzenberg on the eastern side of the valley.

Day 5 : BOLAND TO CAPE TOWN
