Dirk Havenga, founder of this family-owned company, is a born and bred Capetonian with 8 years of tourism and guiding experience in the Western Cape. Married to fellow Capetonian, Laetitia, they are the soul and inspiration of 34 South Tours. They are passionate about South Africa and find great satisfaction in sharing this special country with overseas guests.
The Tour Experience
The journey is the destination, and the tour guide is the distinguishing factor between brilliant tours and average tours. Therefore we use only registered tour guides who have a proven track record of expertise.
Tour guides who are knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic ambassadors and for whom exploring the Western Cape is as exciting as for our guests.
Our vehicles are luxury Volkswagen microbuses (for 1 - 7 passengers). They comply with the legally required safety standards, insurance and passenger liability; all with air-conditioning to cater for our sunny climate and to ensure that you, our guests, are comfortable on your tours discovering the Western Cape. We also cater for bigger groups in specially contracted vehicles.
